Description

The beautiful love between Albert and Mary gets overshadowed by Albert's terrible and unforgettable experiences as a photographer at war. Talking about this continuously depresses Mary whom Albert, in his turn, does not support. Albert leaves Mary to find consolation with his family. Mary, in the meantime, gets in a state of hallucination after having read her mother's diary revealing the cruelties in the concentration camp where she was interned. When Albert comes back to her, she sees in him a nazi and... kills him.
