Description

Giuditta tries to hide four english soldiers who are soon found by the Germans and killed on the spot. Hopeless, she runs away and joins a group of Italian refugees trying to reach the liberated cities. The commander of a German detachment wants to have her and keeps the group as prisoners until he has satisfied his desires... Pushed by the group in order to save their lives, Giuditta has to accept. When the Americans arrive, the ungrateful people treat the girl as a prostitute, declaring themselves to be the true heroes.
