Description

Esterina, a country girl, wants to live the city life but, travelling with Gino and Piero - two truck drivers - she experiences the corruption of the big towns... With a stratagem, a dishonest lady tries to push her into prostitution and Esterina, full of shame, tries to kill herself! Gino does not return her love but when the girl has given up her hopes of improving her status and leaving the boring countryside... Gino has a change of heart: maybe she is indeed the right woman for him!
