Description

Anna, young wife of a rich tradesman, is tired of the boring life so typical for her small French town. When a woman is killed in a nearby bistrot, her interest for this crime becomes extremely morbid. Attending frequently that same cafe, she familiarizes with a strange young man, Chauving, who feeds her curiosity with several details. Fantasizing in her deranged mind about a mad relationship of love and death with Chauving, she is brutally brought back to her every day routine... when he leaves town
