Description

Gennarino comes from a wealthy family in Somma Vesuviana, but he goes to law school in Naples. Both Gennarino and Pasquale, an underworld boss, have set their eyes on beautiful Carmela. Gennarino is disappointed when he sees Pasquale leaving Carmela's house one night. Heartbroken, he decides to return home and look after his family's properties and also renew his relationship with Reginella, his neglected fiancée. Pasquale flees abroad leaving Carmela with a child. On Gennarino and Reginella's wedding day Carmela shows up with the child and accuses Gennarino of being the father. It's all a plot and in the end Carmela confesses. Gennarino and Reginella can finally get married
