Description

During fascism, due to a misunderstanding, a young insurance officer - Omero, is thought to be a fascist inspector sent secretly to examine the revenues of a small town! The mayor, still un aware of the mistake, presents a false situation of prosperity and happiness. Inquiring more deeply, Omero sees all the corruption and violence behind the regime: his sympathy for it will fade away. The mistake is soon found out, but Omero is ignored: everyone is busy welcoming the true corrupt inspector...
