Description

Ferdinando, an innkeeper, marries the young and frivolous Carmela after the death of his first wife. Carmela and her lover Lucio try to draw the suspicion on Ferdinando for the death of a man they had killed trying to rob... Thanks to his daughter, Caterina, mute since the death of her real mother, the adultery is discovered and Ferdinando's innocence proven!
