Description

Duchess Anna is a widow forced to raise alone her two sons, the oldest being her husband's illegitimate child. Keeping the secret, she cannot, however, accept the idea that Roberto and not Giacomo will inherit wealth and title. Roberto, truly loving his stepmother, is shocked by the truth and out of desperation joins the army... but it is Giacomo who dies at war!
