Description

The Jar: a man repairs a huge jar but gets stuck in it because of his enormous size. The irate owner must break it in order to liberate it. The Fan: In a park a poor young mother begs. When a passer by gives her money, she uses it to buy a paper fan. The Patent: a man known for causing bad luck obtains a document from the authorities delaring such. He uses it to draw money from superstitious people. The Tail Coat: An elderly teacher borrows a tail-coat to attend a student's wedding, but the wedding is about to be postponed due to the death of the bride's mother. Being uncomfortable in tails, he manages to have the wedding celebrated and over with
