In a Sardinian village two families are in conflict and murders seem to be the normal way to solve their problems! Efisio - a professional killer - instead of doing his job spends the night with his wife... but his victim is killed by someone else! Needing a solid alibi, he cannot tell the truth and... everybody thinks that his wife is pregnant of someone else! Torn between the risk of being accused of murder and his wounded honor, he pretends to punish his wife but pushes the act too far... A tragedy is doomed to happen!
