A crazy old man thinks he is Martin Boorman, the right-hand man of the Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler, and in Rome he manages to sell a painting by the famous Spanish artist Goya. Although this transaction seems simple, a whole set of people worthy of the best international espionage are soon in a state of agitation. Thus, there is strife among adventurers and beautiful women of all nationalities, all unscrupolous, all ready to do anything to achieve their purpose. They run the highest risk, face any dangers, to get possession of the painting, not, as one might think, because of its value, but because they are convinced that the famous picture has on the back a map with indications of the whereabouts of Hitler's hidden treasure. At the end, after many hairraising adventures, and American a French girl, an Armenian and an Italian girl find a genuine Roman treasure, not the coveted one. And among these people, love is found, too
