Description

Artist Bellini composes a beautiful love song for Maddalena, a charming young girl promised by her father to a rich aristocrat.. Their love story is obstacled also by the presence of another woman, Giuditta. Bellini, heartbroken, moves to Milan, but at the peak of his success one of his operas turns out to be a real fiasco... Still in love with him, Maddalena sacrifices herself to help, but the tiresome trip to Milan will affect her already fragile health irremediably....
