Description

Bastiano, the dog-catcher of a small town, falls in love with a countess, Lucy, a rich and lonely widow. Angeline, Bastiano's girl-friend, jealous of her fiancé, takes her revenge by spreading the rumor that the dogs freed by Bastiano are affected by rabies. The unfortunate young man is saved from a lynching by a local attorney who brilliantly defends him in court
