Description
A ship-owner, Tellis Teopulos, has one of the greatest fleets of tankers in the world. To avoid bankruptcy and remembering the large profits he made at the time the Suez Canal was closed for three months, he wants to provoke the same situation again. Knowing that an atom-propelled ship, the "Shannon", is to pass through Suez, Teopulos decides to blow up the nuclear reactor of the ship and, in doing so, destroy the Canal and pollute the area for a long time. He decides to make use of the two technicians who were in charge when the ship was being built. When one of the two is found killed and the other disappears, the CIA sends Frazer to investigate. He discovers that an obscure menace threatens all ships passing through Suez. He manages to get aboard the "Shannon", kills Teopulos and prevents the explosion of the nuclear reactor.
